Communication: Scouts

The number one source for Troop information are the Scouts! We strongly encourage you to get as much information from your scout as possible, and help to teach them to gather and share information with you about the activities in the Troop. This reinforces to the scouts that this is their Troop, and not an activity that is planned and managed by the parents. The scouts learn to listen, plan, participate, and communicate about the Troop activities. Please, voice any missed communications concerns to your scout and encourage them to raise them to the Troop (likely via their Patrol Leader or the Troop’s Senior Patrol Leader). They can only address issues if they know there is a problem.
